In the July 2012 edition of Orange Coast Magazine, the Best of 2012, Art Resource Group art appraiser and consultant, was aksed to recommend a local artist whose work would be a valuable investment. From the article:

ELIZABETH TURK

A Santa Ana based sculptor with critical acclaim and a place in varied art collections, she won a 2010 MacArthur Foundation Fellowship, and a Smithsonian Artist Research Fellowship the following year. Six years ago you could have picked up one of her works for $12,000 to $135,000, but some are now commanding $25,000 to $395,000.
