ABOUT THE ARTIST

American, b. 1947

John Okulick was born in New York and resided on Governor's Island for ten years. At the age of ten, he moved to Southern California and later earned his BFA from University of California Santa Barbara, and his MFA from University of California Irvine. His first studio was located in Costa Mesa, CA.

Okulick is a critically acclaimed artist whose work has been exhibited in many of the nations prominent museums and galleries.
